The 21 Week Update

I’ve got nothing clever for a fun title this week…my creativity is stuck a bit I guess as I am trying to work through a monstrous to-do list with seemingly no end in sight–why do I do this to myself?

How far along? 21 weeks, 4 days…129 days to go!
Size of the bambino? She’s a banana this week—might explain the craving for one of my favorite fruits!
Maternity Clothes? Slowly, but surely…loving my new Gap jeans and corduroy pants—perfect for the fall months! And one of the Asos maternity dresses I ordered was a hit, and it’s red–just perfect for the holidays!
Weight Gain? 14 pounds and counting…
Stretch Marks? Still smelling like a coconut
Gender? Sweet Caroline is a GIRL!
Movement? All the time now—it’s still crazy to think she is in my tummy just wiggling around at all hours of the day…and night!
Sleep? Poor Jeff said we need a king size bed now since I take up 2/3 of our current sleeping situation. I have to switch sides a lot during the night because I get so uncomfortable.
Food Cravings? Anything with bananas…we bought Blue Bell’s Banana Pudding ice cream at the grocery store and I am eating it like crazy! I’m also craving Apple Cider, which is perfect for this time of year.
What I Miss? A full night of sleep, endless amounts of caffeine, and reading something other than baby books {graphic and in-depth-yikes!}
Symptoms? Itchiness in the belly {I know, that means I am expanding}, retaining water, swollen fingers—please I don’t want to have to go wedding ring-less, and the belly button is inching out, though I hope it stays put!
Best Moment of the Week? Announcing her name publicly–and thanks to so many of you for your very sweet and thoughtful comments! It really means a lot!!

Now, it’s on to nursery planning. The event I have been anxiously anticipating for 2 months finally starts tomorrow and we are going to order Caroline’s furniture–look out for my inspiration post to come VERY soon and I promise to post progress pictures, too!
