Have you ever played the game where you think about who you’d have join you at your “pretend” dream dinner party? Mine would include a random assortment of people, ranging from JFK to Reese Witherspoon and then ending with Lady Gaga…yes, I’m telling you, it would be a show for all to see.
For design and decorating help, I would seek out Julia at Pawleys Island Posh. I love the way she styles the rooms in her house…effortless and chic, but still comfortable and lived in. She has great taste and a flair for design!
When it comes to fashion, Chassity at Look Linger Love always seems to get it right…like this little vignette for the girls going back to school. I love the fact she can find high fashion pieces at stores that people actually shop at đ
For food love and recipe advice, it would have to include Sara and Kate at Our Best Bites. They have been one of my go-to resources for cooking ever since I started blogging…I love that their recipes are simple and include ingredients you will buy AND use over and over again. Plus, who can say no to a cheesy pizza grilled sandwich?? I think I’d also want to throw in Jenny Hobick for some good measure on the kitchen and table styling, too!
In the friendship arena, and by that I mean, blog friends that I know would be real life BFFs, I would want Jessica from Little Baby Garvin, Tracy from Then I Got to Thinking, Sara at Running From the Law, and Darci from The Good Life sitting as close to me as possible. They all sound like my cup of tea and I know I’d be lucky to call them friends.
I love a good party, and planning a fun soiree is something that brings me so much joy…I would want to have a little sitdown with a few amazing ladies: Courtney at Pizzazzerie and Kelly at The Party Dress. I wish I was half as talented as they are in the entertaining department.
We all love seeking out other mothers for parenting advice and I think I’d seek out the help of Darby at Fly Through Our Window and Erin from Blue Eyed Bride. These ladies have got it together, but you can always tell that in their home, family comes first.
For a quick DIY project/tutorial, I would seek out the help of Cassie at Hi Sugarplum as well as Michelle at Ten June. Craftiness comes naturally to these ladies…and then I am the one with 4 unfinished projects lingering…haha.
And of course I can’t forget about someone for exercise, healthy meals, and getting your body back post-baby…for that I would certainly include Megan from Honey We’re Home. Hands down, she found a way to make it work and she looks incredible. She started a separate blog called Honey We’re Healthy for all things food and fitness.
So there you have it…my rundown of a fabulous real-life blogger meetup. One can dream, right?? This just makes me realize I really need to look into going to a blogger conferences sometime soon. There are a few out there that sound like a lot of fun and I need to make it a priority so I can learn a thing or two from some incredible women.

It's so not surprising that a lot of these ladies would be on my list for a "dream blogger meetup" too! We've got to get together at some point — it's a must!!! My vote is for the Influence Conference next year, but I'm up for anything! If there's a way to get a handful of some of my very favorite blog friends in one place, I'm all about it {throw in yummy cocktails and a kid-free weekend and I'd fly across the country in a heartbeat!}!
