If there is one thing I am PROUD of this year, it’s been the fact that I have adapted to the FWTFL ( Faster Way to Fat Loss ) lifestyle and I have stuck to this program for one solid year… AKA it’a time to celebrate my one-year anniversary! It’s CRAZY because before this, I had NEVER been able to stay on any one type of diet/fitness/food program for any length of time. One, because I was always feeling deprived; and two, because I got tired of the same workouts/same recipes/etc. But here we are, one year later and I am more knowledgeable about intermittent fasting, carb cycling and macros tracking. Now, I’m ready for 2020, and feeling better AND healthier than ever before!
The Faster Way to Fat Loss
HAVING SAID THAT, I do want to preface this post by telling you that yes, I’ve slacked off the past 2/3 months… throughout October and November, I didn’t do a great job of tracking my macros or fulfilling my two low carb days, but you know what?!?! THAT’S ALRIGHT. I’ve stayed true to my intermittent fasting and I coming out of the holiday season feeling better about my mind, body and soul than in any years’ past and ready to tackle an all new round starting January 6th.
So yes, drink your bubbles on New Year’s Eve, enjoy all the desserts you can, eat all the party food during the college football playoffs and come ready to rumble with me and my coach extraordinaire Allie come Monday, January 6th, 2020. The best part?? During the first week of the program, it’s ALL prep week = watching 1 video a day that teaches you the ins and outs of the three components of the FWTFL method, how to download/use MyFitnessPal, and all the other user resources available to you. Allie is INCREDIBLE in what she does and I wouldn’t have been nearly as successful if it weren’t for the best coach ever… another reason to be sure to check her name when you register to be in my group as that’s the only way we can track and add you to my round! She also offers a ton of additional receipe guides and meal plans to take the guessing work out of it, especially since everyone is busy and we need to streamline and simplify as much as possible.
I’m also working on super fun giveaways for those who register with us = extra motivation is ALWAYS a win or me and I think it will be for you, too! Even better, the FWTFL corporate team just rolled out the brand new APP where you’ll find daily workouts [at home, gym, and beginner options], meal plans, recipes, and more.
If you’re looking for more insight and specifics into FWTFL, check out my FAQ Post for all the high-level details you might be asking yourself. I think that should answer all your burning questions AND I also have a FWTFL Favorite Recipe Page, which highlights my pantry necessities as well as items I love to make with macros info included!
I also did a brief Q&A session via IG Stories earlier this week and wanted to answer some of the repeated questions here for easy reference:
What is included in the $199 fee?
When you register and pay the $199 fee, you get weekly meal plans + recipes, daily workouts, access to the all new FWTFL app, as well as a private FB small group for accountability. Allie also provides extra resources, tips + tricks, video links and giveaways to get us all excited and motivated to see major results! We recommend people doing 1-2 rounds of FWTFL before switching to VIP membership, which costs $99/monthly and includes all of the resources outlined above, but for a lower price–I specifically LOVE the workouts in VIP and group conference calls, too.
What is my role with FWTFL?
I get asked all the time if I am a FWTFL coach… the short answer, NO. Not because I wouldn’t love to complete the training and help others, BUT it’s a huge time commitment/full time career for a lot of the FWTFL coaches and they are the industry experts so I leave the technical stuff to Allie. She has been a coach for years and knows the ins and outs of this program and I trust her wholeheartedly. I’m an affiliate, which means I bring my followers + friends along to show them this lifestyle I live by and encourage others to join!
What’s the benefit of carb cycling and intermittent fasting?
We talk about this more in depth during prep week intro videos, but FWTFL consists of three specific things: carb cycling, tracking macros and intermittent fasting. These three components, when used together, help your body to reach its optimum fat-burning zone, burning fat, toning up and living a healthier, more balanced life. You can read more about it here.
Can you be successful without the exercise?
Absolutely… I know a ton of people who have JUST done the nutrition component for their first round of FWTFL and have had major success. The foundation of FWTFL is all things food and nutrition so if the exercise component overwhelms you, perhaps just do one round and focus on the food and see how much you like it!
Can anyone be in my group?
Just as I mentioned above, the only way to get in my private FB group is when you register using my link AND select Allie Janszen as your coach. You will then be put in my group which is LOADS of fun… daily check-ins, lots of positivity and motivation, group sharing, extra meal plans and recipes from Allie as well as a ton og giveaways to get us all moving and grooving and making the most of our six weeks together.
Can you drink coffee? What about creamer?
I’ll be honest, if Allie had told me I had to give up coffee, I think I would’ve ran the opppositefdirection. I’m a woman who NEEDS her daily coffee fix and I can’t drink it black either. So yes, you can still have your coffee [this is what I drink at home] and use this creamer, as it won’t break your fast.
WHAT DOES PREP WEEK INVOLVE?
Prep week = basically a week to learn the fundamental details of FWTFL by watching 1 video each day… Allie breaks down macros, how to integrate intermittent fasting, tracking food + editing goals in MFP, as well as everything you’ll want to do to be successful during your first round of FWTFL. This eases you into the program by trying out the methods so you’ll have a good idea of everything once we hit GO!
Do I have to join the gym to complete the workouts??
Another major win with FWTFL is that you have a TON of options on how to complete each week’s workouts. No, you don’t have to join a gym… they offer at home AND gym options as well as a beginner option for those that may just be starting their fitness journey. AND, you can watch short video snippets where they show how to properly execute each move so that you’re not having to Google “Bulgarian Split Squat” in the middle of your workout. And yes, I am saying that from experience. P.S. the app is also super helpful in that now all of your workouts are in one location. I am still a paper person and handwrite each workout down in my notebook for easy reference!
