With that, I wanted to share one of my favorite holiday traditions that we do at our house to pay it forward to those who help us this holiday season and spread a little joy their way as well. Two years ago, I started leaving a little box of goodies on our front porch for our dear delivery friends at UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL and it’s been such a fun treat to get to make their days a bit merrier each time they drop off packages!

My Papa worked for UPS for almost 40 years and I can speak firsthand to their dedication to each and every package… I remember Gran having to push back Christmas Eve dinner as a child because Papa would be late from work, yes even on Christmas Eve. So the least I can do is to give them a snack and drink to help ease what all they are doing for us, now and throughout the holidays…. funny enough, our regular UPS man Randy is a good friend and fellow colleague of my Papa so it’s always fun to see him and catch up and hear stories about my incredible grandfather and all the awards he won before he retired… warms my heart so much!
